Diving in Papua New Guinea

Just returned from diving in the tropical rich waters of PNG. A pristine environment with lush green landscapes and an abundance of weird and wonderful marine life. It is a picturesque place with a variety of different diving options, from small macro life in volcanic black sand to thriving coral reefs. The water was 30 Degrees which makes you want to stay in the water as long as possible. Definitely, Papua New Guinea should be on your bucket list.

“We’re for Whales” Photographic Exhibition at Customs House

IFAW have launched their “”We’re for Whales” photographic exhibition at Customs House in Sydney.  A number of my photos of Humpback Whales feature on the massive digital wall on the ground level and throughout the exhibition. If you are in Sydney it is worth going to have a look at the exhibition and support the fight to protect our whales. check out the exhibition at Customs House until the 31st March.

Hawaii, Manta Rays and Turtles

Hawaiian Islands

I had the pleasure of spending some time in the Hawaiian Islands over the Christmas and New Year break and I discovered how amazing this part of the world is. From the marine life to the mountains, it is all spectacular. I only wish I had more time to explore. There is so much to see and do from watching live volcanoes, snorkeling with turtles, diving with Manta Rays at night, Hawaii is world class. I look forward to my next visit.

Orpheus Island Queensland

Orpheus Island Photo Workshop

I spent last week in North Queensland at the Orpheus Island Research Station with a group of talented professional photographers at the Orpheus Island Photo Workshop. It was a great experience and always an awesome way to meet new friends and learn more about photography.  It is a very beautiful place just off Townsville and at the door step to the Great Barrier Reef. I look forward to visiting the place in the near future.
