Humpback Whales, Ningaloo Reef

Humpbacks are naturally curious, gentle giants of the ocean.  Seeing and interacting with them in the water can be a life-changing experience! Scott Portelli has been photographing humpback whales for 20 years, and you will benefit from his expertise and mentoring during this tour.  There will be time each evening to review and edit your images with Scott, to get the best possible results.   The waters of Ningaloo are so diverse, you may see whale sharks, turtles, dolphins and dugongs to name a few.  In your down time, you’ll have the chance to photograph emus, red kangaroos, black-footed rock wallabies, native birds and more.

We work with Licensed operator Live Ningaloo who provide a sustainable and professional ethical approach to working with marine life and cetaceans in World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park. With award winning Live Ningaloo we take a single swimming group approach to interacting with these amazing creatures.

Cost for the week of diving and attending the photographic workshops is $6,675
